Hi there! Welcome to today! How has your day been so far? Perhaps it’s just beginning. Or, maybe you are several hours in and find your mind already thinking about tomorrow. Tomorrow. Does it feel far off, too close, or somewhere in between? Feelings are interesting, aren’t they? They are a fascinating force that can create an experience, coupled with one or more thoughts, and suddenly we find ourselves bumping up against all kinds of small moments that are making their way to creating more noticeable moments. And sometimes we find these moments colliding with other moments, perhaps from the past or even projected into the future. Oh, and let’s not forget about POV. You know, point of view. How is your POV at the moment?
POV, or one’s perception of experiences, can influence how our individual processes of input and output are channeled. Let’s try a little exercise. At this very moment, if you could describe your POV, would you describe it as crystal clear, cloudy, hazy, midnight blue, dark, or none of the above? Our perceptions matter and here’s why: how we make meaning within a specific situation can influence how we proceed with making meaning in future situations. When was the last time you paused and asked yourself how your meaning-making skills are doing? Perhaps they’ve become a bit dull and could benefit from some sharpening. Or, maybe life feels overwhelming right now and thinking about making meaning within a situation only adds to the overwhelm. Perhaps you find yourself curious about this meaning-making thing we speak of and would like to learn more.
Wherever you may be, you carry an amazing skill to make meaning within major moments of life and those from day to day. If you would like to learn more, please reach out! It would be our privilege to journey with you as you discover how amazing and capable you truly are.
